To control the driver's behavior in these Open Air designs, we created an active loudspeaker system with sophisticated digital crossovers, a DAC for each frequency band, and individual amplifiers to power each driver. Breathtaking musical experience
The EDGE loudspeakers are 3-way A.I.R. loudspeakers using 4 drivers. Each loudspeaker sports:
The Satori tweeter is designed to offer exceptional imaging, regardless of the listening position, and provides a frequency response that reaches up to 30 kHz. The mid-bass and bass drivers are engineered to have a linear cone excursion, allowing them to handle the high demands of the A.I.R. architecture.
All the drivers are perfectly integrated in time and phase, with no baffle to restrict high and mid-frequency dispersion. This results in an incredibly airy and large soundstage, creating a feeling of being present at the concert or in the studio with the artist. This is commonly referred to as holographic acoustics, and The Edge achieves this effect effortlessly.
- Two sliced cones 156mm (6-inch) mid/bass drivers featuring an extremely large linear excursion (13mm - 0.5inch),
- One high-end Satori dome tweeter,
- One long-throw, one-inch linear excursion, thirteen-inch (34cm) bass driver to reproduce the lowest registers of bass with incomparable speed and accuracy.

Our Analog Devices high-grade DSP board is used to optimize each driver’s amplitude, impulse, time and phase response. it sports six 32-bit/192 kHz AKM4454 DACs.
Hypex NCORE™ amplifiers are directly connected to each driver’s voice coils. Without any power-robbing, phase-shifting, passive crossover parts in the signal path, The Edge delivers blindingly fast sound reproduction and lifelike immediacy.
The CCU accepts connections through balanced analog, S/PDIF coax and optical IN, and up to 24 bit/192 kHz WiFi steaming.
